2019 - our 100th season!

What: Modesto Band of Stanislaus County (MoBand)
"Concert in the Park"
Where: Graceada Park at Needham and Sycamore - Map
When: First Concert is June 6th - 8:00pm to 9:45pm
Bring: A blanket, lawn chairs, food, drinks, friends!
JOIN THE BAND! -
*Get out your instrument and come play!
*Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30PM to 9:00PM.
*Must attend both rehearsals.
*There are no auditions for MoBand - but we require that musicians have graduated the 8th grade and have typically had 4-5 years of experience playing in a band (to be successful).
*We play Grade 3 music and higher - typically what you would play in high school and college, but with a slant towards pop music, marches, oldies but goodies, classics, rock 'n roll, and movie music - and a lot more!
We do not provide any instruments. Borrow one from your school over the summer. Most high schools and colleges have instruments for enrolled students. Percussionists should bring a snare drum and sticks. There are always a lot of accessory instruments in our percussion section that need to be played, too.
Still need an instrument? Contact a local music store like Gottschalk's Music Store (209) 523-5326 or Ingram & Brauns' Musik Shoppe (209) 571-0133 to find out how you can rent an instrument.
